Creation

I was driving home the other day and I started thinking of how different religions view Creation. Christians believe a male deity created the world (ok, many won't openly admit their God is Male, but if you listen closely to them, they always say "He" and "Father").

That's what got me thinking. I look around this world and think...there's no way a Male made something THIS beautiful. Sure, maybe he had a hand in it's creation, but I don't think he did it all himself. This only strengthens my belief in dual deities (God and Goddess). There had to be a female touch in the creation of our world. Here is my theory.

The Female side of the Deity (Goddess), created the plant life. Trees, grasses, flowers, weeds, anything like that. The Male side of the Deity (God) created the foundation (the stones, rocks boulders, mountains), that which we stand on. One is useless without the other, if you really think about it, therefore they compliment each other. I can hear you asking "Where do Humans and animals fit in here?" That too has an explanation. We came from both. It takes a male and female to create people, and other animals (with the exception of animals that procreate asexually). God and Goddess created us, both together...after being satisfied with creating us a habitat.

Does this make sense? I often question my own theories...they make so much sense to me...but they're often outside of the mainframe ideas of things.

  1. i think that the goddess was in charge of creating all. but that god got into all of the mathematics of it. so for example, if she created the oceans. he set up the laws and functions that allow the ocean to operate properly and so on. If she was in charge of creating the human form, he got into how the body may function, what nutrients it needs, how long it will last, etc. sound good?
