Well, seeing as everyone seems to be on this ball, I may as well jump on too.
I didn't even realize the Simpson's were going to go this route until I seen on PaganSpace, a topic about the Simpsons taking on the Wiccan religion.
The summary:
After getting lost in a game of hide-and-seek, Lisa wanders into the field and discovers three teenage girls, including Cassandra, who are practicing Wiccans. Though she is skeptical of their spells, the girls assure Lisa that they never hurt anyone and ask her to join their coven. Just before Lisa is inducted into their pact, Chief Wiggum arrives and arrests the three girls for witchcraft and Lisa becomes the star witness in the trial. Meanwhile, Homer starts hanging out with Cleatus and his hillbilly friends when he discovers that they make moonshine.

I watched this episode and found it within the usual standards of the Simpsons. Poking fun at a popular topic, with no ill intended towards Wiccans. Personally, I found it quite humorous, as I enjoy watching the Simpsons.
There have been numerous religions poked fun at by the Simpsons...not to mention Christianity in just about every episode with the ever entertaining "Ned Flanders"...fundamentalist Christian to the core, calling his reverend "Rev. Lovejoy" at any crisis he encounters, including the swatting of a fly and inquiring of how God would approve of his actions.
Honestly, if anyone takes offense at this then they need to crawl back into their hole...as if you cannot take a little criticism and mocking now and then, they will never be able to make it in the real world at all.
True to Simpsons, harmless fun-poking.
