While attempting to paint my pentacle, naturally, I broke it. However I'm not really surprised. I noted a flaw in my design when I started, but hoped it wouldn't have had an affect. Unfortunatly it did and the lower right point of the pentagram broke off.
Now, I restarted my pentacle and it turned out pretty good. I used flatter clay to form the pentagram itself over the circled clay and it seems to have held better. Unfortunatly the pentacle itself (as it dried) curved a bit upwards so it won't sit flat against my book. BUT that's OK, everything is a work in progress and I'm pretty proud of how it turned out.
(Note, that if I place my pentacle on the second book (the blue one), I WILL be making corner pieces.)
