Words of Wisdom

Some words of wisdom that came to me in answering an inquiry to spell casting.

When spell casting, be sure of at least two things.
Knowing, and Accepting.

Know:
-Know your intent
-Know how to proceed
-Know the consequences

Accept:
-Accept the consequences
-Accept the responsibility
-Accept your actions

In summary Know means to know what you are going to do and be sure that it is what you want to do. You must be absolutely sure about the actions you are about to take because there is NO taking it back. There are no take-back spells or "Reverse" spells.

Accept means that should something happen that is unexpected (or even expected), you must accept that you were the one that took the action and must accept both the responsibility and the consequences.

This is extremely important to those who want to participate in spell work. Spell work isn't some willy-nilly thing that can bring you whatever you desire. It CAN result in REAL results, even if you dabble, so be absolutely sure about whatever it is you are planning on undertaking because as stated above, it cannot be taken back. It must "run its course".
