I stumbled up on a page from the "Charmed" Book of Shadows on Hecate and I am absolutely appalled!!!

Oh my Fricken Goddess! The misinformation from this is...all I can say is appalling!!!
Yes, the only accurate thing in this piece is that Hecate is a Goddess of the Underworld. That's it. And...the only reason she is associated with the underworld is because of her assistance to Demeter in rescuing Persephone from Hades. She is NOT demonic!

You realize this is from a tv show right? They didn't bother to research a lot of things and opted to make up their own information about of lot of the creatures/demons/gods they had on the show. Nothing on the show is supposed t be real and I'm assuming they wanted to put their own creative spin on things.

ReplyDeleteIts still offensive to me as a follower of Hecate. I mean how would someone feel if I were to portray Jesus in a public program as some ugly monster whose only purpose in existence was to bring demise to others? There would be SWARMS of protest against it.
I was looking up Hecate's symbols and came across this photo on Google. I am also offended and outraged by this. How can this ever exist, besides from ignorant movie producers and jugemental asses. I worship Hecate and to see this not only saddens me but makes all I rage I have bubble at the survive. Outraged, I say!!!!
