Excited: New Class

I've signed up for a new class, and I'm so excited about it. It's the last "Witchcraft" course available at one of the online schools I am a part of. I can't wait to dive into it. I've never been so driven to finish a series of courses. Perhaps because this class was taught and presented so well, and the teacher is a wonderful teacher.

I took a BIG risk and paid for a one year membership to this school (which was only $10...that's a BARGAIN compared to other schools that ask for membership fees ranging from $29.99-$49.99) so I could take this class.  I couldn't resist the temptation. Normally I say not to pay for online schooling, as you get what you pay for, but I enjoyed the other two Witchcraft classes so much that I wanted to finish the series.

Another series I want to complete is the Spells series. It's only two classes, and sometimes (depending on the semester (yes, this school runs on semesters)) for the last class, you need to be a contributing member to enroll. I really enjoyed the first class, and want to take the last one, but I'll wait until next semester to sign up. I don't want to overwhelm myself again, like I did with my Spells/Tarot classes last semester.

Ohh, I'm itching to get started...but classes don't start until the 5th. I guess the wait just builds anticipation. I'm loving it. Here's hoping this semester goes smoothly. The class sounds like a good one.

  1. Sounds like it might be good. Tell us how it goes!

If you don't mind, what online classes have you found the best? I've been looking for one to try out.

I'm Jenni by the way, recently found your blog and I love it. :)

  2. Firstly, one should take all online classes with a grain of salt, and not think they're the end-all be-all of learning. Just like books...they're just the author (or in this case, teacher's) opinion of how to go about doing one's craft

That being said, the classes I have taken at "The Firefly Academy" have been great. The teachers are all really nice, and it has a completely different feel than say "WitchSchool". Firefly, has a more family forum type of feel, whereas WitchSchool feel's more business oriented. I like the family feel, probably why I go back.

There's a link on the left side of my blog to Firefly if you'd like to check out their classes...but hurry, classes start the 9th, and enrollment ends the 8th
