"Do Wiccans believe in any Gods?"

I read this so many times. There are so many sites out there and so many books on the subject, I can't imagine why people would still feel the need to ask this. I could just point these people to sites that explain it, but there are times when I just don't feel like searching through hundreds upon hundreds of sites out there to find, what I believe, to be the best site for them to see. Sometimes I just take it upon myself to try to explain.

Wicca does have a belief in a Goddess and God. Everywhere I have gone (every site I have looked at, every book I have read on the topic of Wicca) it states that they believe in a Goddess and God. Show me one site or book on Wicca that states that they do not believe in any deities? I know Dianic Wicca mostly focus on the Goddess (while putting the God on the backburner), simply because it's a feminist tradition. But still there, they believe in a Goddess. I recently got shafted in a question where I stated that Wiccans believe in a God and Goddess. Why? I don't get it, considering, as stated, everywhere I went, it states that wiccans believe in a Goddess and God. I have never heard of an Atheist Wiccan. It's like an oxymoron. I've heard of Atheist Witches (those who practice Witchcraft and not Wicca, nor believe in any Gods).

Hmm, maybe I'll just site some places that I have found on general wicca and show they all say "Goddess and God".

From: "Wicca.com"
--"...Thanks to archaeological discoveries, we now have basis to believe that the origins of our belief system can be traced even further back to the Paleolithic peoples who worshipped a Hunter God and a Fertility Goddess. With the discovery of these cave paintings, estimated to be around 30,000 years old, depicting a man with the head of a stag, and a pregnant woman standing in a circle with eleven other people, it can reasonably be assumed that Witchcraft is one of the oldest belief systems known in the world toady. These archetypes are clearly recognized by Wiccan as our view of the Goddess and God aspect of the supreme creative force and predate Christianity by roughly 28,000 years making it a mere toddler in the spectrum of time as we know it."
(Editing Note: I didn't post this to claim Wicca is over 28,000 years old, but to show the pre-Christian basis of the religion. Wicca is and will remain a 20th century religion)

From: "Controverscial.Com"
--"...To communicate with the force, Wiccans believe it to be manifest in the form of a Goddess and God. As they emanate from the same source, both retain equal power, hence equal status. By manifesting the power in two deities (Goddess and God), the natural balance of opposites, cause and effect are retained, e.g. Summer/winter, light/ dark, life and death etc. Each opposite is essential to maintaining the balance and rhythm of life on earth..."

From: "Religious Tolerance.com"
--"...Many Wiccans believe in a deity that is largely unknowable -- sometimes called "The All" or "The One." However, they believe that they can comprehend the male and female aspects of the deity, whom they call the God and the Goddess. Sometimes, they commune with "The Goddess" or "The God." Other times, they link with specific Pagan deities from the past. Instead of "the Goddess," they might relate to Athena, Brigit, Ceridwen, Diana, Hecate, Ishtar, Isis, Venus, etc. In place of "The God" they may link to Adonis, Apollo, Dionysus, Odin, Osiris, Pan, Thor, Zeus, etc."

From: "Wikipedia" (**Please note, I do not accept Wikipedia as a reliable source of information, but using this site as an example of sited information from a popularly used site**)
--"...as followers of Wicca are now commonly known, typically worship a God (traditionally the Horned God) and a Goddess (traditionally the Triple Goddess), who are sometimes represented as being a part of a greater pantheistic Godhead, and as manifesting themselves as various polythestic deities..."

From: "Tala's Magical Broom Closet"
--"This belief continues today, and most wiccans believe in the balanced polarities of the feminine and masculine which are seen as the Goddess and the God, and made up of all the Goddess's and Gods of each certain tradition. These are ultimately all a part of the One Ulitimate Creative life force, that many simply call God/ Goddess/ Spirit."

Shall I continue??? I have yet to come across any site that states that Wiccans do not believe in a Goddess and God. I can agree that many may believe in one or the other, but to make it seem that I have not done my research (and I have done so for the past 8 years), puts you in the wrong.
