Sorry non-Initiates, You're not Wiccan anymore!

At least according to ONE member of a "Blue Star Wiccan" coven. I think I'll keep her anonymous (for now).

It's interesting how practitioners of ONE Wiccan tradition can be so blind, regarding other traditions of Wicca. Coven based followers and traditions are NOT the only ones who practice Wicca. One CAN be a self-taught Wiccan. To say otherwise makes as much sense as saying someone can't be a Christian because they never attended a seminary. There are so many books, sites, groups, forums, teachers, classes etc out there one can learn EVERYTHING they need to know how to properly practice Wicca, sans coven. Just about any tradition out there (even Gardnerian!) has information on the tradition for one to research and learn. Welcome to the wonderful world of the World Wide Web!

Wicca is not about degrees, traditions, titles and who knows more. It's about a relationship with the Gods. If people are so blinded by their own credentials, they can't see how their own religion has evolved since it's creation, they should hang up their pentacles and call it a day.
