...Un...suurrreee

I thought I'd take some time the other night to attempt at meditation before sleep. I calmed my self, and began to chant "Hecate". I'd just prefer to chant as I meditate as I feel it keeps my mind focused on something (if I don't, my mind wanders too much).

Well, I'm not sure. I felt a presence, but I wasn't sure if I was just imagining something. I sensed someone was there, and I saw a vision in the dark, on my left side...between my husband and myself. It was a woman. Long hair dark hair, sort of streaked with white (I think. I couldn't quite see as it was dark in my room). The woman wasn't quite what I thought Hecate might look like (if it was her). I'd never seen this woman before. She had sort of a long (as in down her face) nose, but thin, and wider eyebrows, than say mine.

I had been asking to see some sort of vision of her. I think I've had a sort of unrealistic idea of what she might look like. Too pretty in my opinion. Perhaps this was her way of confirming that my expectations of her are too high. She was in white, though, and I've always envisioned her in white.

Who did I see? My guardian? Or the Goddess herself??
