Some people seem to think that the only reason people participate in online schools is to gain these "Certficiates" to flaunt around to people, thinking they know everything about Magic and Witchcraft. That's not always the case.
Sure, there may be some naive 14 year olds out there who think Witchcraft is all about what Charmed says it is and believe having these "Certificates" from these online schools confirms that belief, but not all who take these classes are these naive teenagers, and not all people want these certficates simply because they want to flaunt around their "knowledge".
I have taken classes from various online schools, such as WitchSchool, MagickaSchool and The Firefly Academy and received certificates from theses schools stating I have completed my classes. Why do I have these certficates? For my own personal records to state that I have taken this class, learned what they had to offer, and completed the class enough to warrant my gaining the certificate of completion.
There's nothing wrong with learning and gaining certification that you've completed a class. Why all the hub-bub?
