Class Update

I figured I should probably update everyone on my latest classes I was so excited to take. I'm on my third of eight lessons and so far so good. I moaned when I saw the second lesson and it talked about "Knowing" myself. I dislike getting into "knowing" myself and my flaws because I don't feel happy about myself, so I drone on and on about the negative stuff...like low self-esteem, low self-image, etc, etc, and I hate acknowledging it because it brings out my depressive side and I end up in a bad mood for days (sorry to my husband and family).

However, now that that part of the class is out of the way, I can concentrate on the rest of my lessons. This latest lesson I'm on talks about ethics, and I think it's a good lesson. It makes the student determine a sort of ethic they should go by...if it's either something they borrowed from another spirituality they brought with them, or one they invented themselves. I think it's important for someone, even on this path, to determine their boundaries and how far they will go before crossing a line. Sure there are Witches out there who have no ethic and think that their craft is for whatever they want, willy-nilly. That's their perogative. I'm not one to tell people they have to do this, or have to do that. But I do believe we get what we give, so if your life is filled with negativity, perhaps look in the mirror and determine why. Perhaps you're taking far to much advantage of your craft without bothering to give something back.

Anyways, I'm really enjoying this class, and thinking I did good to pay for a one year membership to this school. I can't wait to finish this class then take my second spells class. I just wish that it didn't take so long for the other lessons to be put up (lessons are put up once a week, so I have to wait a week before carrying on to the next lesson. It's good in a way...causes you to really go into your lesson, and not just zoom through the course).
