Day 5: Getting Better

I'm feeling MUCH better this morning. I had a great sleep last night. I still woke up at about 5:30, but that's ok. I was actually surprised when I looked at the clock and it said "5:30". Typically when I sleep, it feels like I'd been sleeping for hours only to discover it'd only been about 1-2 hours, and the night would continue like this.

What was different about last night, that I hadn't done the night before? Well, hmm...I rode my stationary bike for about 20 minutes while watching my son play the Wii, then afterwards I spent about 20 mins in a warm bath. That could have contributed to my restful sleep (hmm...perhaps a nice bath every night lol).

I woke up this morning and actually couldn't wait to get up. Typically when I wake up in the morning I feel cruddy...like I just want to crawl back into bed, even after my children are gone to school. And usually I do. Today I'm just waiting for 9:00 am to come around so my husband and I can go out and run errands. I got laundry finished, folded and put away, and was looking forward to a nice walk with my husband this morning, but unfortunatly Mother Nature had plans of her own; currently it's thundering and raining. So much for a nice morning walk. Oh, well, maybe later. Hopefully this nice shower will cool things off a bit and will make a walk later nicer (or worse by bringing out the mosquito's lol). Either way, a walk will be nice.

The first few days of this program were really hard, and I suppose I can anticipate more tough days (for I have another 25 days to go). But for now, I will enjoy the days where I have more energy, and not feel depressed, and will make the most of them. :)
