This is my last day for my "diet" "challenge". Oh, let me tell you it was QUITE the challenge. But...I persevered. I got through it and actually feel better. I'm glad it's done, and glad with the results.
Yes...I had some very, VERY rough days...days of depression, sadness, disappointment, but I also had days of excitement, happiness and elation.
Seeing as today is my last day, tomorrow will be my last blog post on this (complete with side-by-side pics and comparative weight numbers). Sure perhaps in the future I will post some updates, but they will not be labelled by day...merely updates (I'll post them under the "Weight Loss Blog" label if people miss them).
Oh, such a hard month, but I'm glad it's over. I'm happy I don't have to take the shakes anymore (interestingly enough, I ran out yesterday, so I guess UN-officially I finished yesterday), but I still have a few things I have to take for this last day so I will stick to my schedule as closely as I can, minus what I've run out of. The up side, I get real food, which means I can have a REAL breakfast today. But...it's not going to be my staple breakfast (well yeah, maybe it is lol). I usually have two pieces of toast for breakfast...but it was usually white bread. Nope, today I'm having Whole Grain Whole Wheat toast, with a yogurt for breakfast. That'll be about 410 calories. Not bad. I also received a couple of fun packages yesterday with LOTS of yummy goodies, all healthy. So my snacking times won't consist of these puck things...I'll have an actual granola bar for a snack or even an actual piece of chocolate! Oh, I actually can't wait now for snack time...BUT...patience, patience.
I want to thank my readers for supporting me, and facing my troubles with me. I also apologize for bringing people down with my venting. I needed an outlet for my disappointments and frustrations, and thank you for bearing with me through my struggles. Weight loss is a VERY hard thing. No one goes through it with a smile on their face and jumping over rainbows while shedding dozens of pounds and reaching beyond their goals. As a wise woman once said "It's not going to happen on it's own". losing weight is a lot of Hard Work. Nothing happens in an instant (hmm...sounds familiar...like a certain "craft" I practice lol).
I do hope everyone has a wonderful day. Keep smiling :)
