Dreams

I had a rather interesting dream last night, and I'm unsure what to make of it.

I was with my mother and we went to a semi old book store/library (started as a store then turned into a library) to look around. I went to a section that had a few really interesting books that I was drawn to. There were three books on Witchcraft that I wanted to read so I grabbed them. While flipping through the pages of one of the books (while still standing at the shelves), I overheard a group of may be three people talking about what do Wiccans do to help society (thinking back to it, this was almost an exact question stated in Yahoo Answers). The members of the group all chimed in their own opinion, and I piped up my own statement: "Many Wiccans volunteer their time in charity work, visiting with the elderly, etc". Once I said this, they opposed my view, making out like no Wiccan ever offered time like this. I tried to reiterate, but one member of the group, an older, larger woman kept telling me to calm down. I really didn't think I was that upset, just trying to get my point across...I though I was rather calm, she didn't.

Anyways, this DID escalate to the point that I grabbed my books and left. BUT...the thing was I left with the books WITHOUT telling the librarian/cashier. I more or less stole the books. Why would I do such a thing? I get nervous if I forget a loaf of bread in my cart at the grocery store.

At another point in the dream, I had to re-encounter this woman again, and with my books in tow. I knew I had taken the books without telling anyone, but did she?

That's really all I can remember. I have no idea why I would take books without paying for them or checking them out (if I were at a library). Not once have I ever entertained such an idea. I love books, and these books were something I really wanted, but even with stuff I really REALLY want, I could never steal.

Confused, rather confused.
