I had a rather interesting dream last night, and I'm unsure what to make of it.
I was with my mother and we went to a semi old book store/library (started as a store then turned into a library) to look around. I went to a section that had a few really interesting books that I was drawn to. There were three books on Witchcraft that I wanted to read so I grabbed them. While flipping through the pages of one of the books (while still standing at the shelves), I overheard a group of may be three people talking about what do Wiccans do to help society (thinking back to it, this was almost an exact question stated in Yahoo Answers). The members of the group all chimed in their own opinion, and I piped up my own statement: "Many Wiccans volunteer their time in charity work, visiting with the elderly, etc". Once I said this, they opposed my view, making out like no Wiccan ever offered time like this. I tried to reiterate, but one member of the group, an older, larger woman kept telling me to calm down. I really didn't think I was that upset, just trying to get my point across...I though I was rather calm, she didn't.
Anyways, this DID escalate to the point that I grabbed my books and left. BUT...the thing was I left with the books WITHOUT telling the librarian/cashier. I more or less stole the books. Why would I do such a thing? I get nervous if I forget a loaf of bread in my cart at the grocery store.
At another point in the dream, I had to re-encounter this woman again, and with my books in tow. I knew I had taken the books without telling anyone, but did she?
That's really all I can remember. I have no idea why I would take books without paying for them or checking them out (if I were at a library). Not once have I ever entertained such an idea. I love books, and these books were something I really wanted, but even with stuff I really REALLY want, I could never steal.
Confused, rather confused.

Dreams Imitate Life
Here is a perfect example of how our lives integrate themselves into our dreams.
Lately, during the past week, there has been some conflict in my house. Because it's now in the past I won't go into details.
Now, my dream went as follows:
My husband, left to go on errands he "couldn't" let wait. So I remained home. A young (what seemed to be a) German lad came over to pick up some parcels that had been left in my driveway...I assume my husband was holding them for him. I didn't know this, but he assured me the parcels were his, and proceeded to examine the boxes. I left him to his task. At that time two men came up the driveway and proceeded to my porch where what looked like various items were for sale (i.e. plastic patio furniture, and whatnot). They asked me how much everything was, and having no idea these things were there, nor for sale, I told them I didn't know. This is the time when I'm anxiously searching around trying to find my husband. While these men are still looking at the items on the porch, my husband's friend came over with a friend of his looking for Adam, and items he has for him. I had no idea what he was talking about.
It was probably at this point in time that all of the men that were at my house came around me and started hounding me about the things they were at my house for. Now frantic, I'm looking around for my husband, while trying to argue my way out of the swarm of people surrounding me, trying to get away from them all.
This almost mimics exactly how I have been feeling this past week...that people are surrounding me, hollering and yelling at me, with no one there to defend me. My husband chose to remain neutral (which felt like total abandonment on my end). I was trying to fight my way through this swarm of people giving me crap for things I didn't do. So it seems natural that my dreams would reflect how I am feeling internally. Being attacked from all angles and an absent husband. Never underestimate dreams...while sometimes dreams are just dreams, sometimes they reveal underlying (and no so underlying) feelings that are not allowed to be surfaced.

Dreams of the End
Normally my dreams are odd. Some are interesting, some are just downright weird lol. This one leaves me baffled.
The only part I remember: My son is in another room, I can see him out of the corner of my eye, watching tv. Suddenly (I'm not sure what happens, if there is a nuclear explosion or some event that blows up the world, but) he just starts convulsing and falls. Before I am able to turn to see what's wrong with him, I myself begin to violently convulse, fall off the bed I was laying on and died, but before hitting the floor, I turned to dust...but the weird thing was how I felt as I "died". I felt myself turning to dust...in just a poof. I couldn't open my eyes, but I could still sense. All I could see was dark (but a slight glow...kind of how it looks when you close your eyes in a dim lit room). I wasn't afraid and let myself turn to the dust. I could feel my arms, legs, whole body become this dusty mist, and it felt completely normal.
Is this some sort of premonition of what it's like to die? A sign of things to come? Or am I just being morbid about the whole thing? I'll never forget though the feeling just after I fell off the bed. Just being a consciousness no form, no body, just a sense; becoming divine? I don't know. Normally I can tell what a dream is to mean, this one...I don't know.

Interpretation: Dreams vs. Tarot
I don't understand it. I have absolutely no problems interpreting other people's dreams for them. For example, I interpreted my husband's dream he had last night in which we bought a run down house that was falling apart, neglected. Every time he turned around, there was some sort of problem with the house, but when I turned around, I found some sort of valuable treasure. As I see it, he views himself as a pessimist, and me an optimist. Perhaps needing to find his own optimisim amongst his pessimism.
I also had little trouble interpreting this young woman's dream about devils and demons in a house...that demons indicate personal struggles and fights within...that each room can be representative of things/people/feelings within her life, etc
I have absolutely NO problems interpreting dreams, but when it comes to Tarot...I draw a complete blank!! Why is that??? As I see it there isn't much difference between tarot and dream interpretation, they all rely on symbolism. So why can't I interpret tarot symbols, but I can interpret dream symbols? It doesn't make sense!

Ooo...Creeeeeppy
I had a somewhat frightening experience upon waking this morning. Sleep Paralysis. I had never experienced this before. Ok, I wasn't really "frightened" but it was slightly unsettling. I knew right away what it was, which is interesting. I was lying in bed...on my back. I was waking up, but my eyes weren't quite opened. I could sense my surroundings, but I couldn't move. I couldn't even speak. I knew I wasn't dreaming because everything was where it was when I fully woke as it was when I was sleep paralyzed. my dog was beside me and I was in my covers. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't move. It confused me, so I tried calling my dog, but the only thing that came out was more like a moan. I tried again, and the same thing. It was so weird.
I guess I fell asleep again, pretty much giving up trying to talk, because the next thing I remember was my alarm waking me up.
Weird lol.

Dreams of the Apocalypse
Last night I had a rather chilling dream. It was scary, but not enough to throw me out of my bed.
The end of the world. Well....ok maybe not so dramatic, but I suppose it could have been seen that way. It started with a giant thunderstorm at night. When the day broke, large pieces of asteroid were hailing down on the earth. People were being hit by them and buildings were being destroyed. I tried my best to cover myself from the blows of falling rock as I inched my way along the side of a building trying to get to safety. Once inside, I entered an apartment. My children were there. They seemed not to really notice anything until I opened the blinds in my living room, and turned on my tv.
Once looking outside, you could see this MONSTROUS, gigantic asteroid just sitting, miles away from the earth. It was bigger than the moon. MUCH bigger. The moon was dwarfed by this massive piece of space rock. I watched the tv (amazed that there was still picture) and saw a much bigger piece of the asteroid wipe out a large chunk what I thought might of been Toronto.
I remember turning towards my children, throwing up my arms and saying "Well, welcome to the Apocalypse". Just the mere phrase was enough to scare me. The funny thing is it was so vivid (and those are the types of dreams I remember for weeks). It almost looked as though someone put on an action movie in my mind. People running, things falling, tv working (lol)...it was suspiciously vivid.
I haven't the slightest clue on it's meaning (IF it has any meaning). I hope it's not a sign of things to come (not that I believe in that whole end of the world nonsense spread around about 2012. That's just utter bs). But could that be a way our world ends? OH, I'm almost positive there will be survivors of something as bad as that, but something like that happening COULD be logically possible...we do live close to an asteroid belt that is constantly hurling asteroids our way.
